Highlights

Log4j critical issue

The discovery of vulnerability of the Log4j library (CVE-2021-44228) prompted our software teams to investigate the problem and its impact on our software and also on our customers. Our investigation shows, that the latest TopSpin versions (3.6 and 4) use the affected versions of the log4j library. However, we do not believe at this time that the Log4J gap can affect the safety of the NMR spectrometer (or processing workstation) in any way. Logging is done entirely internally without involving user input, so we do not currently see any way in which the issue could be exploited.

The latest version of Bruker Log4j patch is availablehere. The evaluation of the Log4j issue continues. We recommend to regularly check this page for updates.
